You can't configure your NAT, it just happens to be open or secure based on numerous network and internet service provider settings.

How to fix NAT Xbox 360 problem on Huawei - Echolife HG520c (Vodafone) ? How to open prots on Huawei - Echolife HG520c (Vodafone) ?

In these situations, its almost always a firewall setting that is issue. Here's what I'd do:
  1. Read instructions and find out which 'ports' are needed to be open on your firewall. A port will be a numerical designation like '4567'.
  2. Find the instruction manual, and learn how to visit the Modem's configuration page. You will likely need to get the administrators password or re-set it. Each modem is different, you'll have to read the instructions on how to do that.
  3. Find the configuration page that mentions 'firewall' and 'port numbers' and 'open' that port which you found in step one.
  4. Save the configuration and try your game again.

Remember, each game could have its own set of port numbers in addition to any 'standard' X-Box port numbers are required. I would NOT recommend disabling the firewall entirely - just open up those port numbers that are need and nothing more.
Good Luck!!

I need an open nat on my sagem 1704 router for ps3 game mw3

I did it with Xbox.
Manually configure your console to have a specific IP address. I set my XBox to 192.168.254.254, with the subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway of 192.168.254.254.
Then (on a computer) I opened my web browser and went to the address: 192.168.254.254
The name and password are both: admin
I clicked Adcances Settings, then NAT, then Virtual Servers.
I created a virtual server, named it, gave it the IP address of my console, and opened up the appropriate ports.
Once I saved it, it worked fine.

My ports are not open and my internet say you nat type is moderate

If you have a firewall or network hardware, such as a router, you might need to make a configuration change in order for your Xbox 360 console to communicate with Xbox LIVE. This configuration change is sometimes called “opening ports” or "port forwarding."

Xbox LIVE requires the following ports to be open: • TCP 80 • UDP 88 • UDP 3074 • TCP 3074 • UDP 53 • TCP 53

Change NAT to open

You need to open all the ports for the xbox live. The NAT of that router model cannot be configured to open. Its just a simple NAT for internet connection.

Cant have private chat or play games with friends

This should solve your problem

For most devices that use NAT, port forwarding is not required to connect to Xbox Live. This is especially true if you use an Xbox Live certified device. Sometimes, you may have to configure port settings on a non Xbox Live certified router or gateway.

If there is a firewall device between the Xbox console and the network device, you may have to configure the firewall to enable communication on specific network ports. If the NAT status in the Network Status area of the Dashboard is "moderate" or "strict," you may have to configure port settings.

The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly:
 UDP 88
 UDP 3074
 TCP 3074

To open the ports on your router see this handy website here,

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

which gives you a step by step guide.

Before opening the ports you must give your Xbox 360 a static IP address (manual) be sure to use an IP address that no other item on your network is using and is fairly high up in your range, for example if your router's address is 192.168.0.1 then you should use something like 192.168.10 for your Xbox 360.

You can also enable DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) on your router, which will open up all the ports to your Xbox 360, however NEVER use this on a PC's IP, see your router's manual on how to do this.

Once the correct ports are open for your Xbox 360, then your NAT should say open.
