BLK to CP3 (hot power in)
WHT to CP4 (neutral power in)

RED to CP11 and CP12 (high voltage, probably 280VAC)

GRN to CP13 and CP14 (6.6VAC filament power)

BRN to CP15 and CP16 (about 38VAC bias supply)

If you email I can send you PDF of schematic.

Does a Yamaha clavinova clp 760 have a fuse that may need changing

There are a number of fuses on the main power board ( by transformer ) the sizes differ depending on the country of use but are clearly marked on the board.

Need a power transformer for a Mackie 1202-VLZ mixer

The transformer itself will have the codes you need to replace it either printed on it or on a label stuck to it. Mouser should have what you need.

Djx 750 - no power - transformer dead?

Actually, you may be in luck. A burned cap means that it has done exactly what it's supposed to do. So...you might stick an identical one in there -- it's a 0.1 uF cap, and you can find these at Radio Shack (0.1 uF 50V) or online. They are cheap, so give it a shot.

Try changing out the Pico fuse. Only 50cents from online West Florida Components. Buy a few. Mine went out twice. It is Item # F021. It is a .5amp (500 mA)fuse-green and looks like a resistor. Location on the circuit board is near the transformer and on back edge or board behind the 2 brown wires connecting to the board and to the side of the 4 diodes there. I left the bad fuse in place and soldered the new fuse to it's legs-a lot easier and does not damage the PCB.

I recently got a Marshall mg100hdfx head for free because it wont turn on, so I am investigating possible parts that may need replacing. The only description I got as to why it wont turn on anymore is...

You may find almost anything in this. I think the power amp is on a separate board so the connections to that might have been broken. Possibility include cracks in the circuit board. First thing is to do after visual check is to check power supply voltages to verify power switch/fuse/transformer/rectifier/capacitor/regulator health. Switches are sometimes damaged... and also wires can fall of or break.

Hello my roland street cube won't power on, either with dc or batteries....adapter working .could a fuse be blown inside circuitboard? thanks

That is the first thing to check. They are most likely inside the circuit board. Remember to replace them with the same voltage and amperage ratings.

My son has a Line 6 Spider III amp. The sound disappeared. I was told the problem is the power transformer had no power any longer. I need a 1X-5730-04H0 to replace the bad one. Where do I order from?...

Transformer failures are VERY UNCOMMON. I would verify the problem before trying to find one.

Most failures are with circuit board cracks and electrolytic capacitors.

Find a very competent electronic technician to check this out.

The RARE failures that occur in transformers are often poor soldering right near the terminals or lead wires. These can often be repaired without replacing.

Yamaha CVP 309-When I power it up, red power light comes on, but

You have to remember that the voltages coming out of the power transformer are A.C. and the voltages used by the devices in the keyboard are D.C. Check for voltage rectifier I.C.s between the transformer and the rtest of the circuits. They should look like squares with 3 pins coming out of the bottom of them and metal backs that protrude above the top of the black squares. Use a volt ohm meter on direct current range and clip the black lead to a circuit ground such as a ground on an output jack. Touch each pin one at a time taking note of the voltage. If you find one that has the same voltage on all 3 pins it is probably shorted. I think the voltage should be about 12volts direct current positive or negative depending on the circuit. Each one will have a code that you can cross reference on the net to find the pinouts and specs. The same thing goes for all the I.C.s If you can find the pinouts for any that you suspect look for the power supply pins and check what the voltage is. Some will have two supplies, one negative and the other positive. If you find an I.C. with power at all pins or ones that should have no power only signal then it is likely shorted. Go slowly and don't bridge two pins at once by accident and you might be able to find the problem without the schematic or a service manual. There is a memory battery (CR2032) that power the memory that might be dead but that should only affect the programmed sounds not the LED or the amp chip. Hope this helps. Do not measure A.C. with the D.C. range or you'll burn out your meter. Use safety precautions with a live device.

SPEAKER OUTPUT CHANNEL FAULTY, TWO MIKE CHANNELS DOWN

These are a real pain to open. You have to remove the front panel to remove a shield to remove the back amplifier power supply area. The power supply is a switching type and has lethal voltages present. Working on this should be done using an isolation transformer. With your symptoms, it is likely one side of the power amp MAY be blown, but do check that the wiring hasn't fallen off and the jack itself. Two pairs of wires come from the power amp to the front panel jacks. document location of ALL the cables you disconnect as they CAN be confusing to restore.

Problem with lights on the drum machine display.

It possibly is an open series resistor feeding the positive tap to all 3 positive regulators, but without specific knowledge of this machine, I can't be sure.
