Question about Heating & Cooling
The most common thing is a bad capacitor for the fan motor. You can test it with a multimeter with the capacitor test function or take it to a heating and air supply and they can check it. If the capacitor looks swollen then it is bad. The capacitor can be made of metal or plastic and will look like a small can with some terminals on one end. Another thing would be a bad fan motor. You could use and ohmmeter to check the fan windings.
