You need to update the driver for your laptop so that your webcam can function.
Goto system properties and click on imaging device.If the device is installed properly then you need to just install the webcam software.If you see a yellow question mark on your device then you need to install software driver for it to work.
Go to your control panel and click on Imaging device,right click on your webcam and click update driver software
This will update your driver and your webcam should work well again
there is a driver for sound card which should be installed,ur comp engineer normally has it ready with him, once the souncard driver is installed all ur audio's will work..
it should be working after an install or formatting if it is not working just go to www.hp.com and go to drivers and support section and type ur Notebook model and u will find the driver for sound, download it and install simple it will work if u dont find it lemme know i will do it for u
