Anyone see a problem doing this? going to set the crossover as high as
possible since I'll have some subs to handle 40-240hz
I have the same problem.

yeah your probably right, 240 is more into the higher bass frequencies,
probably 120 hz or so? Now that I'm going to run my 6x9's off an amp instead
of my HU I have a little more control over what frequencies go to it, along
with more power to push to them.

240 Hz not a "higher bass frequency".  It is just below middle C on the
piano and easily localizable by the ear.  Female vocalists can sing it.
