I can't turn the volume up or down on my pioneer PD-F906 manually. So I bought a universal remote but the remote does not work on it. Is there a remote that will work? Or is there a way to manually change the volume?

CDs go in the Upside Down position. Your PD M501 will accept PRW 1139, PRW 1141 and 163.
