Question about Car Audio & Video
So I got this from my bro-in-law; its a whole kit...amp, box, woofer etc. I have it wired up just like my older bazzoka tube; actually I have it wired up just like he had it when it WORKED but now I cant even get it to power up. Am I missing something here?
If you're geting no lights on the amp, you need to confirm that you have voltage at the amp. If you haven't done so yet, check the on-board fuses.
With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
