Question about Garden

1 Answer

When left ideling buy itself, the machine keeps going in reverse as someone is depressing the handle to make it go in reverse. Also because of this problem, when going forward the belts start to smoke, as though forward is fighting the reverse mode.

1987 AUTOMATIC BMW 325 GERA SHIFT RELEASE BUTTON STUCK IN DEPRESSED POSITION .

For the fact that you don't know what is the cause as you bought it like that I think it's best for you to buy another gearbox before you start spending on that gearbox, then you can start deciding on fixing selling or keeping it for spare parts bye bye

Can't lower handle on Hoover wind tunnel vac U6432-900

Anne, Do you mean that when you depress the pedal on the left side of the machine body that you can't get the upper portion to release into a lower mode? Or are you fully depressing the pedal?? As for the switch for the self propelled mode, that's actually just a small button that you move around in the slot of the handle to select which mode you want to use. It's not actually a switch. If you are fully depressing the handle release pedal and it's not releasing, you should take it to the store where you purchased it, if it was a vacuum store. If you bought it at a big box store, then you'll need to take it to some repair shop that does warranty work, if it's within the warranty period of course.

I have a husgvarna Designer1and the reverse botton is not lighting up and is not going in reverse

The reverse button doesn't light up until the feed dogs reverse their rotation (feed rearward). The problem probably relates to the drive thats shifts the linkage to reverse the feed dogs (although it could be the linkage itself is out of wack). In any case, I doubt that you are doing anything wrong or that this is something you can fix yourself.

Singer 4423 stuck on backstitch!

Is sewing machine set for buttonhole making? Sounds like it got "confused" in the process of a buttonhole revolution making a reverse stitch, and so you need to change adjustment settings top left, bottom right, remove extension table and turn feed dogs switch back left of machine to UP position.
Did this help?

Gear noise left front 2008 prius sound like a tire rubbing against a plastic fender but it is not and the faster you go the louder it gets . Even worse when you steer to the right. And quite to the left.

It's most likely a bad left front wheel bearing or possible tire noise, switch the left front tire with the rear tire and see if the noise changes. If not have the wheel bearing checked, it may need to be replaced.

My reverse stitch doesn't work?

There is a rocker inside the machine the rocks back and forth with the operation of the reverse button. It will stick if it is not serviced regularly. If you have the machine serviced every 2 to 3 years, by someone who knows the machine, everything should work fine for many years to come. Not servicing a sewing machine is something like not servicing an automobile. It will run fine well beyond the recommended service time but when it stops, you will need to spend a lot more money than what you would for a standard oil change.

G-5 Kirby self-propel works intermitently. The handle must be jiggled until it engages forward. The same for reverse. Once underway it will continue indefinitely until the need to change direction. Jiggle...

sounds like a loose wire, the wire is connected to the handle, you may be able to fix this yourself but be careful you can void the warranty by doing it your self. (most people make the problem worse) remember your kirby has a lifetime warranty (limited) the first 3 years anything and everything, after that for 175 dollars you can send it in and get it rebuilt to the newest model no matter how old it is as long as the person is still alive that signed the warranty card.

hope that helped.

Elna 6003Q Sewing Machine won't snap out of bobbin winding mode

I had the same problem and fixed it myself. Remove the portion of the housing that coincides with the bobbin winder. You will need to remove two screws to do this--one is just to the upper left of the bobbin winder itself, and one is hidden under the handle on the left side of the machine (lift the handle, and look on the machine on the left side.) It takes some coaxing to remove the housing, but it can be done--be gentle. If you need to, remove the housing on the left side of the machine that covers the needle assembly. This will make it a bit easier, but still, be gentle.)
After removing the housing, you will see a black metal piece with a elongated slot and a screw adjacent to the bobbin winder mechanism. Unscrew the screw a turn or two, and slide the piece to the other side. Tighten gently. Turn your machine on, and move your bobbin winder back and forth and watch the screen change from bobbin winding to the main straight stitch screen. Now, do a brief Dance of Joy. I hope this helps.

Right door handle upside down pinches fingers. how to remove and flip?

mirellis, grab the handle with both hands and push in and up. The handle will slide off the retainer clips. To put them back on, line up the clip holes push in and pull down. I never tried flipping them, but you will find out real fast. This is for the GS6NBEXRL model that was posted, Catriver.
