Question about Dell A920 InkJet Printer
Please remove the printer and uninstall the software in your PC .The reinstall and connect the printer to be detected and installed. Now do a maintenance head cleaning and take a test print.
If there is no change on your printing quality then I think the black you have put into could be a suspect.
The other suspect can be the headd by itself. So try to repeat the head cleaning process till there is some change or the head starts to print better.
Take the printer properties and set the contrast levels. This might make a difference.
If not the head might need a change.

More than likely you have a problem with your printhead not your cartridge but no genuine cartridges cause the most problems. It either dries out, clogs up or a piece of jammed paper gets stuck on the printhead.
Try a few print head deep cleanings if that does not help then you could try soaking the print head in a shallow plate of hot distilled water. Soak the tip of the print head only in no more than 1/8th to 1/4 inch of water.
try another black ink if it is work in it. if no available ink then, try to soak the ink pin onto the lukewarm water for 30 seconds and wipe it out until dry and then insert it back to the ink holder.
Otherwise the printhead requires replacement

Could be the nozzles have dried up and won't let any ink out. Soak the nozzle end of the cartridge in a shallow pan of warm (not hot) water for about 10 minutes. Then blot the nozzle end and reinstall. That may take care of it. Otherwise it's probably a bad cartridge.

Well, Yeah mine did the same thing!!
And I got soooo fusy! and etc. But yeah okay go to the manul script and look for the ink Number then once you find the ink number go and buy the ink that has the same number of ink as yours!
Once you get home replace it with the others.
BUY THE BLACK INK! not the TRI-COLOR!
