Try this:

1. To obtain the driver, go to ftp://ftp.vidar.com/pub/sti drivers/ and
download "autocd.exe".

2. Run "autocd.exe" and the contents will be extracted to a folder.

3. In the Windows Control Panel, open the Device Manager (Control Panel->
System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager) and select the Driver tab within
the Vidar Scanners properties.

4. Click on "Update Driver" and browse to the STI folder (unpackaged from
autocd.exe).
