several qs. What year make and model is the car? Is car level when water fills floor? Does it always happen every time it rains fairly heavily? Is the trunk always dry? Talk to other owners for their experience.
I had the same problem with a 1994 Taurus. Within the front fender was 10 years of pine needles and leaves blocking the drain backing the water up in and over the fire wall and into the front passenger seat floor. I took a LONG pair of needle nose pliers threw the passenger side door, and was able to remove enough debree. After pulling out out about 5 fist full's of yuck, 1 gallon a water that was stuck some where poured out flushing out the drain. I did the same on the drivers side. After that I had no problems with floods. I hope this helps. If not check your back door weather stripping if you have one. I have heard water leaking behind the passengers seatbelt and onto the floor from under the seat. Got to love Florida's rain season(s)
You have a blocked drain. There is a condensation drain at the back above the pump with a small tube that is meant to deposit water onto the pump for evaporation - the drain gets blocked so the condensation flows out through the front door. Also makes big rivers of ice at the back of your freezer behind the bottom shelf?? Solution - Dismantle the inside of the freezer - take all the plastic trim outof the back of the freezer with a screw driver - don't worry, it's only trim and goes back easily. Eventually you will see the drain collector (flat V shape) and at the point of the V is a small hole, pour warm water in this till it drains to the pump at the back, instead of down onto your floor at the front. You may need to clean the hole too as it gets gunked up. You can also help by finding the drain tube above the pump at the back and gently inserting a chopstick or similar untill the warm water empties onto your hand ! Takes about an hour all in all and has been fixed for a year now on mine.

this freezer works best full....
Ether the washer is over filling or has warn out the seals. If it has been abused (overloaded) it needs serious work. other wise the sensor may be stuck. Try 1/2 cup of vinegar with a load and see if that cleans the sensor travel area past the drum but inside the tub. This is a common problem for an old machine. Best leak is on the door and you may be able to tighten the screws but be careful it could mis aligne it so tighten a small amount and test by closeing the door. Do this at least twice before turning the screws hard.
