possibly. Garmin Support should be able to try and rebuild the system software. call them and request the software team after explaining what you just wrote 1800-800-1020, figure on a 1 hr call. if they cannot fix it they may be able to get you a discounted unit (us address trade in program)

I have a Nuvi 680. I bought a 4G SD card for more storage. Yesterday Garmin sent me a new map to install and now the Nuvi is telling me there is not enough space. Can't be! Nothing was ever installed onto the SD card since I only put it into the Nuvi today. Help, what am I doing wrong?

• Press TOOLS (the spanner icon at the right bottom corner of the page that shows WHERE TO and VIEW MAP)

Unfortunately there is no additional software you can add to preform that function, Garmin makes 2 different unit targeted specifically towards truckers they would be the nuvi 465LMT and the dezl 560LMT. Both of these unit can be found at either www.gpscity.ca or www.gpscity.com.

Call Garmin. I had exact problem and nothing I did worked. They had me load new drivers, software and remove the settings on my Garmin. After about 50 minutes of different things, it now works and can locate satellites and routes.

You may need to call Garmin. Their tech helped me to resolve issues and it didn't take too long. Had to upload drivers and new software. Now it can find a satellite.

mcdevito75 here, If your garmin is 99% ok, you may have to deal with the 1 % errors. Remember no GPS is stsated as flwless, and we need 4--5 statlite hook ups for GPS. I'm in Florida and Use my Venturer GPS at times it takes an hour to go someplace and only 20 minutes to return, go figure I guess.

You need to go to Garmin and do a software update. Ask a tech for assitance if needed.

My 1370 occassionally "takes a nap" and needs a hot reboot. What seems to work is to hold the power button down for about 10 seconds. This powers it down when locked up and starts it from off if it is stuck there.
