Driver for LG 8700 Cell
Hi, here is the solution answered by someone else. I did the same and it worked. See my own comments at bottom.
"I recently purchased the LG 8700 & good news. I found out how to use it. The reason LG does not include a driver is due to the fact that it is pre-installed. Just press on "OK" then scroll down to "Tools & Apps" (Bottom Middle Icon). Press on the icon and select "Tools." Under tools scroll to the bottom until you see the words "USB Mass Storage." Before pressing it, install the USB into your cell-phone - the left side (screen facing you). Plug the USB into your computer and let it detect the new hardware. Once done, go to - My Computer and open "Removable Disk." From there on, you can drag and drop what you wish in the APPROPRIATE SUBTITLED FOLDERS. Hope this helped."
So basically, you just connect the data cable then it asks you for location of the driver. Just ignore, Select OK on the phone and press 8 - 1 - 8 it will automatically connect to the masse storage device (please note i installed a 1 Go memory). Wait few seconds and Windows will then display the right location for installation; just accept until finish. Then action is performed to open the folder - it gives you full access to Music, Pictures and other folders.
