Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Can't locate speakers

Sorry if this is not appropriate question for you, but I have searched 'high and low' for the compatable speakers for a monitor we recently purchased. Can you please assist. I am needing a description and a quote. I am hoping they mount directly to the monitor.
Thank you.

These are the speakers that are compatible with your monitor.

Is my AOC 9170 monitor compatible with HP Pavillion 6523W Windows 7? Does this monitor have built in speakers?

Hi there,

I am not sure about the speakers. The best way to tell if it has speakers is if you can physically see them. They are usually located at the bottom of the monitor and they look like little screens on either side of it. If it doesn't have HDMI or a line in jack (speaker plug) that you can see then it won't have built in speakers for sure.

If the monitor has the right connections to plug into your HP computer, which it should. Then it will work with your computer. Your computer has both VGA and DVI monitor connections on it so either of these should work as long as your monitor has the connections (which it should have at least one).

Are my tr-2810 tower speakers shielded? Will they ruin my television?

if you are using lcd monitor then it will not do any damage to it. however, if it is a crt type of monitor then yes it can or may damage the monitor. if the speakers do not that they are shielded then you should assume that they are not and should be placed away from the crt monitor because the speakers magnetic field will affect the crt magnetic filed used to display the picture on the screen. speakers with high magnetic fields and are unshielded should kept away from crt type monitors! lcd monitors do not use magnetic fields to bring a picture to the screen so it will not affect these types of monitors.
you nay also check your user's or owner's manual for more information on you speakers and maybe check any of the manufactures web site as well. but it better safe the sorry to keep the speakers away from the monitor in question.

No, according to Microsoft listing:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&type=Hardware&s=%20Samsung%20SyncMaster%20920NW&results=50

What it means is that you may not be able to set it to the native resolution for best pictures.

Can someone tell me step by step, where is the microphone located on the Hanspree 20" flat panel LCD monitor? I can't find any info in the manual on this. I go on to Skype and my speakers work but not the...

Hannspree says they don't offer a 19" LCD with a built-in microphone. If there is one, I can't suggest you use it as noone would be able to understand you well.Their built-in speakers, also, are notorious for low power and poor, tinny sound. the addition of a USB or audio card compatible type headset is recommended for most voice applications, including Skype. Tigerdirect.com, overstock.com or walmart.com all have inexpensive headsets and stand alone mikes. Hope this helps some:)

Can't get speakers to work.

Hi...

Mostly of the sound driver now are need a compatibility if your installed driver is not compatible it will affect the hardware. It's better that you will know the model of your motherboard, if you know the model you need to search the model and download the sound driver witch is compatible.
For now the all motherboard are High Definition Audio.

Good luck!

Low volume sound

I was afraid of that. The speaker system is only half in the monitor the other part(Amplifier section) was in your old computer. Here is a possible solution. Buy an external sound /speaker system. The amplifier comes with it and many can be had at a reasonable cost at **** places as  Walmart , target ,etc. Sorry. but the speakers on  your monitor, I believe ,  will not work with you new computer. Sorry.

Monitor making humming noise

First try moving speakers away from monitor a bit. Some speakers magnets actually reduce the life span off monitor. I hope I am wrong but usually a high pitch whine is the High voltage Transformer. Costs more than the monitor. All you can do is continue use till it goes. Speakers usually deteriorate the tube itself. HVT are just one of those parts that go due to use. Hope it gives you more enjoyment before it goes. Good luck and try to have a good day.
