Hi,

Power cords are often make & model specific. Pls post back with the brand & model of your TV.

Alternately, most electronics parts stores carry various power cords, perhaps you can try there. A lot of current TVs are using an IEC320C13 to NEMA 5-15P. It is the same type of AC power cord with those used by computers. Of course the plug itself would have to conform with your country's electrical code.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I want to know what cables i need to reconnect my set top box, model no CG5660-M

Can you tell me what type of TV you're trying to connect to your set top box? Also, are you looking to buy new cables or use cables that you already own?

Could you please tell me if my LC-32GA5E tv can work with sky HD.The manual tells about switching to hd mode, but there seems to be no where to connect hd to the set.The tv is about 5 years old. thanks...

This is an HD ready TV and can definitely be used with Sky HD, but ONLY if the Sky box is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. It will not work if connected with a scart cable.

So you need 2 things. Firstly, you need to buy an HDMI cable (see picture) if you haven't already got one. Secondly you need to locate the HDMI sockets on your TV and Sky box. The sockets will have the HDMI logo (see picture) next to them.

Please rate my solution if you find this helpful. Thanks.330cd4e.jpg

How do I tell if my tv is analog

Hi Dru,
Good news, your 42 inch Phillips has a built in digital tuner, all you need is an antenna.
Please post the model of your other Tv and I will check on the tuner type.
I have provided a link to a site that has good info on antenna types and the channels you will be able to recieve.

Let me know if this was the information you requested and please rate this solution.Lone99star

TiVo installation

Since the Series2 doesn't do HD, you don't need any fancy connections, and it's pretty simple to hook up.

1) Disconnect the cable that's connecting your cable box to your TV, from the TV end.
2) Connect the end that *was* connected to your TV, to the "input" on the Tivo.
3) Get another piece of the same cable (coaxial cable), and connect the output of the Tivo to the input on your TV.

That's it.

You may just need to go to Best Buy and get a piece of coaxial cable to connect the Tivo to the TV.

If you need further help, let me know.
