Fisher and paykel drawer won't open

You can try to reset by unpluging if you have not already. The problem seems as if its the bot actuators even if it was a flood issue you could still pull open the drawers . Now i am pulling this from memory of the few i have serviced in the field so forgive if i am wrong . try holding the start and cancel button at the same time for a few seconds and this will get you into *** mode. then hit the start button this should start a fast cycle. If you can get the bottom drawer open you can get to the tech sheet in the back and trouble shoot from there. good luck

We have a 23" Fisher&Paykel dishwasher and got

The F1 error coming on top drawer when operating bottom drawer is due to the thermal fuse blowing up on the bottom drawer and shutting controller power.

The thermal fuse could have blown either as a normal component failure or heater over heated due to thermostat failure. In any case this can be repaired by replacing the whole heater assembly as all the parts are integrated.

This is at the underside of the drawer and will need a technician to replace unless you are very familiar with repairing electronic dishwashers. The part look like this.

The way you have described the onset of the F1 error is not due to flood switch. You can confirm that the lights on the bottom drawer are out even though the top drawer is showing F1 and beeping.

If problem was flood switch then both drawers would show F1.

DISC DRAWER WILL NOT OPEN

First, start with power cycling the player. Turn off the player and disconnect the power cord from the wall socket. Leave it unplug for about 5 minutes. Turn the player back on and try to open the drawer.

If same problem occur, then follow the steps below:

1. Turn off your DVD player. You do not want to risk electrical shock while working with it.

2. Locate your DVD player's manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the DVD drawer.

3. Insert a stiff wire-such as a paperclip or safety pin-into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open.

4. Remove the DVD and see if there is a problem with it. Most DVD player drawers get stuck when a DVD is warped or the label is starting to peel. If the DVD is warped, discard it. If the label is peeling, remove the label.

5. Turn your DVD player back on. If it gets stuck again on a different DVD, then the problem may be with your DVD player rather than with your DVDs.

Good luck!

Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer beeping constantly

leave it unpluged to stop for now, the machine has detected a leak and is constantly running hte pumps within the drawers to try to remove any water.. problrm is the water detector is in bottom under the lower drawer and htere is no pump to remove that water ..canbge a fickle machine as far as leaks are concerned, but the easy reason is usually misloading of the drawer itself, was an item put in that was too tall , preventing the lid from coming down and sealing off drawer causing water to overflow down the side??? there should be(so logn as no previous repairmen have taken it) a tech/trubleshooing guide taped to teh back wall behind the lower drawer, which is easily removed by unlocking hte hinges on either side of the front of drawer, explained in your manual

Dishwasher Dilema

You need to remove the bottom drawer and dry out the water with towels and a hair dryer when this is done it should operate normally. most likely when you pulled out the drawer the water sloshed back and out of the drawer making the dishdrawer think it was flodding turning on all drain pumps. If you look at the back of the drawer about two inches from the floor you will see an oval hole off center to the right. That is where the water got out.

Fisher and Paykel double drawer dishwasher

Hi. I am a plumber who has had this problem before. To reset the flood switches you need to remove the bottom dish drawer to be able to access the reset buttons. To remove the drawer you press in the rectangle buttons and slide them back under the drawer, they are located right behind the front panel at the bottom of the drawer. It may help to have someone help hold the drawer for you. Once they are slid back all the way place the bottom drawer on the floor to the left side of the washer as you look at it. This will give you the access you need. Lie down on the floor so you can see in the bottom. There you will see a white coloured plastic box on each side, one is for the top drawer the other is for the bottom drawer. Make sure the power is off to the dishwasher. Place your finger underneath the box and you will feel a small pin/lever. This is attached to the magnetic flood switch and resets it when you click it one way and then the other. Once you have done this turn the machine back on before you put in the bottom drawer as if it does not work then you will need to activate it maybe a couple of times. Oncw the F1 alarm disappears you are good to go. Place the drawer back in the opposite way to removal. Slide one rack forward and rest the drawer on it. Then slide the other side out and it will snap lock into position. This procedure literally takes me about 3 minutes and should save you about $120 for a serviceman to come out. The principal is the same on all dishwashers its just a matter of locating the reset switch. All the best and save yourselves a fortune.

Fisher and paykel DD-603 dish drawer

Hi there, If you have had an F1 you need to dry out the product in order to reset the flood switch. This is a simple process as follows: 1. Ensure product is disconnect from wall so that it has no power. 2. Open the bottom drawer and put your hand in through the gap where the bottom of the bottom drawer comes out and feel the base of the cabinet that houses the drawers for water. 3. If there is water present dry it out as much as you can with paper towels or old rags. This machine is designed to drain all water to the front of the base of the cabinet away from the flood switch that sits at the back left corner of the cabinet base that the drawers are fitted into. 4. When you have base of the cabinet dry you need to ensure that the switch has not moisture on it in order for it to reset and allow you to start using the product. This can be done 2 ways: 1. leave bottom drawer open for 24-48 hours to allow natural air circulation to dry out the connection. or 2. position a hair dryer to blow air into the back left corner of the base of the cabinet and dry it out quicker. This still make take up to 6 hours as the flood switch had a protective cover over it to try to prevent F1's for small spills. 5. When the product had been dried out, important that you make sure it has, when you switch on the machine the F1 should be gone and ready to use. Please run each drawer seperately on a rinse cycle to confirm to yourself that it flooding was possibly caused by something blocking the sprayarm, or something stacked too high or something got stuck in the pump temporarily stopping it from draining effectively or the product suddsing too much from spilt rinse aide in one of the drawers. If each drawer runs successfully you should be in the all clear to start using it again. Please note though: if something blocks the spray arm that is directly linked to the pump your drawer will flood as a result. If you have something stuck in the pump peventing it from draining effectively ie a toothpick or piece of broken crockery this will cause your product to flood, but you will hear an louder than normal sound when the pump is running. And finally if you spill rinse aide in your drawer when filling it clean all spilt rinse aide to prevent unit from over sudsing when running. Regards KAR-Ltd
