Well there isnt much you can do when its disabled. The only thing you can really do is hold the sleep and home key for 10-15 seconds. then it will reset if that doesnt work try this. If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present Follow the steps that i have outlined below. If this does not completely help your situation please let me know and i will be glad to assist you. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: 1 If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data." If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day. Why does my iPod keeps turning itself on when I lock it?

iPods have no traditional on/ff switch. They power up with the slightest touch, which makes turning the iPod on as simple as touching the menu. Turning the iPod off, however, can be more tricky. Waiting for automatic shut off wastes battery life, and surfing the menus yields no way to stop the device from running. Turning off the iPod Nano, though, is almost as simple as turning it on.

Locate the "hold" or "lock" switch at the top of your iPod Nano. It will be located on the top of your device on the left side. Make sure the device is unlocked. When the device is locked, an orange bar is visible. When it is unlocked, that bar is not visible. The iPod needs to be unlocked in order to power off. Locate the "play/pause" buttons. These are located at the bottom of the control wheel. Press at the "play/pause" section of the wheel and hold for a few seconds. Your iPod will power off. Do not touch the wheel again after powering off, as this will power the device back on. Locate the "hold" or "lock" switch again. Slide the bar to the locked position so that the orange bar is visible. This will prevent your iPod from powering on in your purse or pocket and wasting battery time.

My ipod touch was working ok then i just turn it off and now it dose not turn back on.

Try holding the "Home" button and the "Sleep" button at the top for at least 10 seconds. If the unit does not show an Apple logo and reboot, try plugging the iPod into your computer with the cable to charge it. If the battery is very dead, it may take a few minutes for the iPod to respond as it needs to charge some beofre turning on.

I played some game on my touch ipod and the ipod turn off ,now I can't turn on the ipod. I bought the brand new ipod one week ago.

It's possible the battery just died, I would first try just charging it. If this doesn't work plug it into your computer, it might need a jump start. If all else fails, redeem the warranty.

Hi,sliding function not working, any help? andy

Try the following

Turn the ipod off and then on again.

If that does not work reset the ipod while it is connected to the power. You do this by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same tme for at least 10 seconds, until either the apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, charge the ipod until it is fully charged.

Hope this helps.

My ipod touch wont work only has a white screen and thats it

Turn iPod touch off and turn it on again.

If the iPod will not turn off, try to reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged.

If this doesn't work, try restoring the iPod

New iPod touch does not fully charge

Hi there,
To fully charge takes about 4hrs. The first 2hrs are a fast charge bringing it to about 80%. The following 2hrs are a trickle charge to bring it to as near to 100% as it can get. It is possible that the iPod hasn't yet calculated what 'Full Charge' is yet based on your devices installed battery. Give it a few days. If it still does this after a few charges and near complete discharges then do a reset. to do this, while it is on press and hold the Menu and Standby/Power buttons for about 10 seconds until the Apple symbol appears. This should get it to do a self test which will re-analyse the battery.

All the best

Ipod touch will not charge

it looks like in all of these cases it's either a battery or a motherboard issue, both can be replaced by a tech savy user or friend if you use an iPod touch repair guide, the parts are readily availabe on ebay.
