I went to the JVC site and found a support phone number.
Previously Had surfed some blogs and reveiw sites and found there was a problem ,not advertised as a recall that involved a chip or internal software.

I have shipped the unit (not in warranty)to them and they will check for that particular
problem. If it is what's wrong they will fix it and send it back without charge.

Otherwise they will contact me for an estimate, with me paying for the return shipping.

Thank you for your intrest : Wayne Robinson

How do you take the lens cap off

Your PowerSeeker is very similar to the one I have. The lens cap is easily pulled by removing a small round cap over the bigger cap (it's right in the middle and you can grab it and pull). By doing so, you'll notice a round opening and you may put one of your fingers inside and pull the cap out. You can proceed the reverse way by pushing the lens cap back to your PowerSeeker and replacing the small cap back in place.

Lens adapters beware!!..

I just purchase a new camcorder (sony Hd1000u) and order a lens kit with adapters for it, but not everybody has experience to how to install them.. Well.., it just about a bit of common sense. First be sure to know what size of lens your camera will use in my case I need to adapt my new 72mm tele-photo lens to my Sony 37mm. usually when you buy a lens kit they come with different adapters. I use a 37-58mm adapter for my camcorder. but be carefull, make sure that the adapter be place first in the lens to be use, in my case to my 72mm lens. Screw it carefully soft tight then screw in the lens of your camera. Do not ever screw the adapter first to your camcorder lens or you will encounter a big problem when you want to remove it later. Make sure you clean your lens before installing with proper lens cloth & solution. This tip will apply to just any camera with interchangeble lens system.0ccddce.jpg24a835f.jpg

How do I remove stuck rear lens cap for telephoto lens on D3200

Are you sure you're turning it in the proper direction? Nikon lenses (and thus rear lens caps) screw in the "wrong" way. The lens cap turns clockwise to remove.

If it's an ordinary plastic lens cap, as a last resort you could cut it open with a knife.

User Manual

I checked the Tamron website menu of manuals and one is not listed. This is a pass-thru device, so other than placing it between your lens and camera body, there should be no additional settings. Your camera focus and exposure is thru the lens so the camera should adjust seemlessly. Please tell us what the problem is, what lenses and body you are using.

Hmmm... Even if it's fully developed, I wouldn't recommend you do this. You can get a number 14 welders glass from any welding supply company. Such filters usually have a thin layer of aluminum, chromium or silver deposited on their surfaces that attenuates ultraviolet, visible, and infrared energy. And even though the developed film has silver within it, it is not designed, optically, for photographic work. The welder's glass is reasonably priced and you ensure your eyes won't get damaged AND has good optical quality. After the fact is too late to change any damage done by inferior viewing devices.

If you're using a video camera with an LCD viewing screen, you don't need any protection. Exposure will be more than likely overexposed though and you may want to consider a 3-5 stop Neutral Density filter or a Number 14 welder's glass in front of the lens to cut down on the intensity of the light.

What body are you using?  Does this occur with other lenses or just this one.  If it is only this lens then try cleaing the CPU contacts with a clean pencil eraser.  If it is with all lenses then you have an issue with the camera body.  We need more information to help you.
