Question about Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver
Look for the file "gmapprom.img" in your Garmin directory on your GPS. The file should be nearly 1GB. If that file is missing, then yes, your map is gone. You can verify this by pressing the wrench symbol at the main menu, then the map icon and then map info. If the button is grayed out, your map is gone.
Also make sure your map isn't turned off. We have a procedure to check that here:
If your map is indeed gone, you can contact the manufacture who may allow you to redownload it. If not, we can certainly resolve this problem for you by sending you unit to us.
