Question about Mitsubishi WS-55513 55" Rear Projection HDTV
Hi, I'm having the same exact problem on my 55". So where you able to solve the problem. Can you tell me exactly what I need to do. I'm handy, but I have no idea what to do here with Caps, diodes and what now. Is it worth it to have it fixed?
The problem is usually a failing or faulty DM board which can be fixed with replacing the 4 bad capacitors...OR...if you cant solder it yourself, a repair facility may charge 250.00 or so and takes about a week turn around time.
The other option is buying a replacement board either from Sears or Mitsubishi from 350.00 and up.
Hope you have good luck. If I can help anymore, let me know.
