It can be 3 things

  1. cd rom drive died and need to repalce it
  2. it has came lose and needs to be rested
  3. just stuck or rails bent
if u just need to open it theres a small payper clip size hole on the cd rom. just get a payperclip and push it in and out it will go

to remove or reseat the cd rom on most laptops theres just 1 screw that holds the cd-rom if u flip it so the bottem of the laptop faces you go to where the cd-rom is and go to the middle of the cd rom face plate. the 1st screw thats about 4-5 in right behind that is the one that holds it

SOURCE: my cd wont eject out of the slot out of any of the ejection buttons

Take a Paper Clip (Gem Clip) and straighten it out. Look on the side of the CD Drawer and you will see a tiny hole. Insert the Paper Clip into the hole to force the drawer open. That's why the hole is there.

No power to the disc changer, how do I manually eject the magazine

There is a manual eject slot on the side of the CD changer. You will need a small flat head screwdriver or a pry tool to insert into the slot.

My cd is stuck in my cd player and wont eject in my merc

i had this problem and i just used a normal kitchen knife to lever the cd up or down to get it facing the slot and then eject, it just seems to stick on the fascia, if it wont take a cd in there is probably already a cd stuck in it.

My cd player wont work there is a cd in there but it will not eject and it will not play! ..

Here is my trick. Get a credit card and insert it in the cd slot, work it arround, not too hard or any thing, just enough to trigger the release mechanisim. the cd should eject. not a fool proof method but has worked a couple of times for me.

I am needing to know how to fix mu 2004 chevy malibu cd player i cant get the cd to come out that is currently in it. when i try to eject the cd it makes a skipping noise and it wont come out. the cd...

This works for sure...

Things you'll need:
1. Old plastic card (an old credit card should do just fine I used a grocery discount card)
2. Timing

Start:
1. Hold the small side of the card like you're going to put it in a bank machine slot (not the sliding type)

2. Push the eject button

3. Immediately insert the card on the left side of the CD slot.. you may have to insert it rather far as it seems there's a switch in there. By my estimation, it feels like the card is ABOVE the disc.... try sliding in/out/left/right (sounds vulgar I know...but this works every time)

There is a point whereby if you don't get the CD to eject, it will display an error... watch your timing and how you move the card and try again....I swear this works.

Tape wont eject

Hi,
From the tape library console, on the menu, select the slot view option, find out the slot of the tape you want to eject. Then move the tape in that slot to the male slot using the 'media move' option menu. The tape will be now ejected to the male slot.
Please come back and post your ratings if this solution helps you in anyway. Thnx

hold the eject button on your keyboard (upper right corner), while shutting down your mac.

If that doesnt work, hold the mouse button down while shutting down your mac.
