Ok take the memory card out of the camera. You should see a white switch (or maybe another color) that has a lock symbol. Make sure its not in the lock position. An if your camera is working fine then it should work when you reinsert the card. IF you need further assistance please followup with a comment and i will be glad to assist you further.

Cobra digital camara dvc910 says card lock/how to fix this

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Why my camara reads card protected.,,,i pearches a memory card and the camara doent work

Take a look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

My digital camara will not save pictures. Messages appear.

If you are using SD memory card, it can be locked. Take out your memory card, on the left side there's a switch. Turn switch up and try again. Hope this will work.

No format memory card

Make sure the lock switch is set to off on the cards you are using. That would prevent you from using them.

Locked memory card

If your camera uses SD cards, as most likely is the case. There is a little plastic switch on the SD card, you must have switched it. Switch it back.

It is a primitive write protect, it only works if the device checks if it has been switched, the camera will check this.

Remove the SD card and look for the little sliding switch on the left side of the card (it's very tiny). If this switch is shown in the "Lock" position, slide it to the other unlocked position. If this switch is already in the unlocked position, slide it to locked and then back to unlocked one time. Reinsert the card and try it out in the camera.
