If all your pics are safely on your computer, then go into the camera menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

Need better instructions for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX400V

The Sony website has a downloaded PDF manual that is very comprehensive, they expect users to get it themselves instead of providing it, maybe to save on costs. They can make corrections more easily this way also, if they otherwise print it beforehand with errors in it.

Sony Cyber-shot TX7 Review, Convert Sony AVCHD Files
If you need a small digital camera that can also shoot Full HD videos, this tiny Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 is a choice recommendable. It can capture vibrant colors in very high-quality 10MP stills, takes AVCHD video with stereo sound, have very good low-light photo quality for its class, but it does suffer from chromatic aberration, lens distortion and color bleeding. And its stylish design doesn’t guarantee very easy-to-use operation.

With its stylish design, Sony Cyber-shot TX7 retains the slide-down lens cover we saw on the Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 and it feels solidly built except for the battery compartment. The camera is designed for people who want a slim compact camera that can be carried effortlessly in a pocket or purse. It's capable of shooting AVCHD 1080p video; you can tell the camera what to do by tapping the icons on its touch screen. However they are quite small, requiring use of the supplied stylus, which could easily get lost. Its image quality won't really thrill you as Sony advertised, but it’s more than suitable for everyday shots that will used on social-networking sites or printed at a small size.
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX7 is best for buy with 10 megapixels, 3.5-inch LCD, Memory Stick Pro Duo and many more things….

How do you export images from the Sony Cyber-shot haRD DRIVE TO THE COMPUTER

Its quite easy just remove the Memory card from the Cyber shot

put it into the card reader and connect with your PC and simply copy and paste the images from card to PC.

You can also connect the Cyber shot directly to the PC using the USB data cable given with the Camera. When you do this a new drive will appear in My Computer now just copy the images from that new drive to anywhere in PC

How to get date to display on images fo sony cyber shot dsc-w200

Sorry, this camera doesn't support the feature. From pp 30 of the manual, "This camera does not have a feature for superimposing dates on images. By using "picture motion browser", you can print or save images with the date." The picture motion browser is described in the cyber-shot handbook, pp92.

Blinking notice on screen E:62:10

E:62:10 means one of the flat cables is loose that leads to the imaging module. Remove the battery and memory card. Remove the five screws and open the camera by lifting the front off. There will be a black plastic sheet lightly glued slightly to the tight of center. This covers two connectors for flat connectors. each has a tiny black hinged bar that can be popped uo with a small flat blade. Then slide the connecter as deep in the socket as possible. Snap the retaining bars back down and replace the black plastic insulator. Reassemble camera.

While you have the camera open canned air can be used to get any lint or dust out of the camera while it its open.

Idk how to delete!

You can download the manual for your camera here:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DSC-W120%20&region_id=1

To delete photos:

  • Enter the playback mode.
  • Press the [Menu] button
  • Use the up/down buttons to select the trashcan (delete) icon.
  • You can use the left/right buttons to select single image, multiple images or All images.
  • Press the center (round) button.
  • Press the center button (repeatedly if doing multiple images) and then Press the [Menu] button again and choose OK.

That should do it.
Note that you can also delete photos quite easily by connecting the camera to your computer with the USB cable and deleting the images with Windows Explorer.

Cyber Shot DSC-T1, Possible CCD Problem

Hello,
When ccd imager is defective, picture result on still image and video get bad in either cases.
Your camera problem is some thing different and hardware failure is possible like data processing IC but in any case, digital processing board has to be replaced and I'm sure its price would be above and over the camera worth.
You can give try by removing and plugging back the flexible wire board ( ribbon) of lens and ccd imager attached to circuit board. Be careful when handling as flexible wire board can be damaged easily.
Thank you.
