I recently fixed my ashdown head that I now know works. But when I hooked it up to my Randall 4 12 stack I get nothing. What could be the problem with the stack?

If the amp originally failed, it MAY have blown out a circuit protector or fuse in the stack. Check the stack resistance with an ohmmeter. It should probably be around 8 ohms.

How to chaing the fues

On the larger models, there is a small door directly beneath the power plug. On this model, the manual does not show a door but, the fuse may be there under the plastic. I'm really not sure. Removing the 2 screws on each side may allow the plug to be pulled out, unless there is a door.

The light on my Ashdown mag 300 combo input level does not light up. How easy is it to fix. Electronic places charge 85.00 just for a quote and 85.00 and hour plus parts to fix it. HELP!.

If you mean the light in the meter, those can be hard to replace and mosts shops would replace the meter itself which would up the cost. It is probably a 12 or 14 volt bulb(s). Look at the back of the meter and see if there is a removable socket to get at the bulb... if not, then the bulb(s) is internal and probably a soldered in grain of wheat bulb(s). If you have never worked on meters before it takes GREAT care to keep contamination out when working on them. I would certainly not pay $85 to have bulbs replaced... use an external lamp if you really need to seee the meter... one of the little LED ones would work.

I need Schematica from the Ashdown little giant. I expect that the fan is not properly connected.

Don't have the schematics for this one... have for a 500 watt one... HOWEVER from that one the schematic shows that the fan is "throttled" by a negative temp resistor which should run the fan when the temp goes up where the sensor is located. The fan MAY not run at all until the temp reaches a certain point.

I have a RH50 T amplifier, it had a bit of a bumpy car ride to band practise the other day and now when i play through it, it will make a permanent buzzing noise on the clean channel that gets 70% worse on...

You may have damaged the variable resistors (the volume controls), you can purchase replacements from a local Electronics store (if UK based try Tandy). Otherwise have you checked the speaker itself for damage? You may have split the speaker which will need to be replaced.

My Ashdown Superfly head has a dodgy jack input socket i have to physically push the jack up or down to get a connection , and this connection gets lost alot in performance with the result of no sound from...

The jacks are basically mechanical. You need to replace it. It PROBABLY is mounted on a circuit board. SOMETIMES they are hard to get at and whole boards have to be removed to get at the soldering. Others are easy to get to.

Best to take to a repair shop if you are not comfortable with electronics.

Recommend you ALWAYS loop your cables through something as tripping over or yanking the cable is common cause of breaking the jacks.
