Wacom bamboo problems in photoshop CS2 (by 3 users)

My new wacom bamboo works perfectly in every other aplication other than photoshop. As soon as I open photoshop, the pen cursor becomes very unresponsive. If I go to move the cursor with the pen, it will not move for a moment and then apear on the other side of the screen (or where ever I have dragged it to) and will not create a line on my drawing. Any help you can give would be well appreciated.

my new bamboo works perfectly as a mouse! but as soon as i open any programs that are meant to support pressure sensitivity, such as photoshop, illustrator or even flash, the cursor jumps to the top left of the screen and only moves around in a small area there!

mine jumps around drawing lines between were the pen is and was, and making wierd loops when i try and use the tablet PC for photoshop painting...
