I thought this was a free website. It sounded like it. I didn't pay much for the TV, so if I have to pay to know where to get a remote control, I can just go out and get a new one and it won't be Symphonic. Thanks,...

Google the remote model number for "manual" and most remotes have a search mode that allows you to try every single code in the remote (average remote has about 50 codes) to see if you can find even one that works.
METHOD" presse TV1 and SET button light on remote is steady enter code ...light goes out.. PRESS SET again and try. Keep trying unhtil unit can be turned on or off, then you know you have the right code. Write it on the back of the TV incase it drops out which can happen.
Unsophisticated is the first word that comes to mind when describing a television like this one, making it an ideal choice for those who want something they can use to watch television but don’t care about anything else.. Without cable input, there is little hope to get the picture looking sharp and clear using an ordinary antennae. IT IS NOT DIGITAL AND RUNS ON the old RABBIT EARS.!
Here is my blog on the subject how to repair remote controls http://www.instructables.com/id/Repair-your-remote-controls/
To dignose if your remote control is faulty just point your digital camera towards your remote and push the buttons. If your remote works you should see light flashing on the LCD view finder of your camera.
Repairing the remotes can be succesful about 90% of the time unless the remote has been chewed by the family dog ?
