Hi the usual cause of it switching strait off is due to the processor over heating, now it may be a case of just getting the heat sink paste replaced or it could be worse and you process could all ready be burned out if this is the case then the chances are a new computer would do you better.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

How to fill the bobbin with thread

The bobbin is a little metal wheel that is usually housed under a plate where the upper needle darts down into. Slide the plate aside and fish the bobbin out. Put the bobbin up on the upper right hand side of the sewing machine and connect thread from the full spool of thread to the bobbin and then when you push the pedal down, (if you have arranged it right), your machine will automatically fill the bobbin with thread and automatically shut off when it is full. Then you have to leave a bit of thread hanging out when you put the full bobbin back down into its hiding space. Of course, you can always fill the bobbin by hand too. When you put it back in its housing, some thread has to be hanging out as the needle will drop down, grab it and the two threads (the top one from the needle, and the bottom one from the bobbin) work together.
Machines work differently but the is the main idea behind most of them. I hope that helps.

the machine probably needs to be serviced to see why it's not making
a buttonhole and see if the gear or cam for the zig zag stitch is

Brother pr-600 screen not responding

See if you can discover how to reset the machine. Typically it is a combination of buttons pressed either simultaneously or in order as the machine is starting.

The buttonhole function only sews the left hand side of the buttonhole and then quits. Any ideas of what the problem is. much appreciation

Pull down the button hole lever just behind the threader on the left side of the presser foot. This will stop the button hole process on the left side and turn it back up the right side.

Singer 2662 won't stay on

I'm sure you've tried all the plugs, but just in case, try wiggling the plug on the right side of the machine. I had the same problem, and my plug was loose. Good luck!

White d'lite 1750c presser foot in down position not recognized

I occasionally have the same problem with my White d'Lite 1750c. I turn the power off, let it rest a minute, then turn it on again, and the problem goes away for a long time (weeks, sometimes months). Of course, the settings go back to the default, so note your settings before turning the power off.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
