Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Where is the motherboard located on a dell dimension 3000 Desktop?

Unplugging the computer from the wall is about all you need to do to get a "cold boot". There is a battery on the motherboard you can remove for a few minutes if you need to reset the BIOS settings. That battery is about the size of a quarter coin.

The motherboard nearly fills the bottom of a desktop system, assuming it's set on the desk with the monitor on top. If you're using it as a "tower" system, the motherboard will fill one side of the box. It's big... and may have other "cards" plugged into it.

Go in control panel click on Add or remove programs or programs and features Look for Bing Desktop or something like that. And double click it to uninstall. After the uninstall is done reboot the computer then it should be gone.

Hello..just moved my desk top to new desk..everything is fine..but mouse won t work..while it was unplugged i cleaned keyboard..monitor with soft cloth..can u tell me why my mouse won t work

IF it's a serial mouse (meaning green round connector) it's probably not plugged in correctly. Now these are not plug and play so you need to reboot your system in order for it to work. Try that.

Wont display the desk top

Try rebooting, tap F8 to get into the multi-boot options. Scroll down and choose "Last Known Good Configuration" windows should boot up normally. If you have made any hardware changes or if windows perfromed a corrupt update, that will require some additional help.

Dell Inspiron 6000 PC Notebook

This sounds like the hard drive is failing. At this point you will need to run a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take, then reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system. If you have any issues during or after the format or install, then the hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced.
