Contact your local Telephone Systems Administrator.
It is the switch that they administer that holds the names.

I am trying to change a name on our systems telephone speed dial list and we have a KX-T7630 any help will do.

This name is stored in the main system processor, not the phone. On the phone, key in *#1234. display shows "sys Prog.
Key in 002 then press NEXT. Disply shows Sys SPD. Name . Enter the speed dial code that you use for the name you wish to change i.e. 000 to 999 followed by NEXT. The existing name will show on the display. Using the keypad, just like your mobile 'phone, key in the new name. For example, for John you would key in 5, then the button under the display with J, then 6 and the button under O etc. When complete, press the button marked "Auto-Dial/ Store followed by the hold button followed by program button

Panasonic Adv Hybride System KX-T7730

If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic KX-Txx 308 or 824 system. From the Switchboard / Main telephone ( usually ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle press PROGRAM * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 604 and then SP-PHONE. Enter the jack number you wish to change ( 01 is extension 101, 02 is extension 102 etc. ). Enter the name ( basically the same as texting on a cellphone ). Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your change. To go to the next extension press SP-PHONE. Don’t forget to press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your change after each name entered.
