Welcome to FixYa.

I want to start by clarifying, is it the 15amp fuse or the hi-limit cutout ( under the black button on rear panel ) as some refer to it as a fuse.

If it is indeed the 15 amp fuses which continually blow, you`ll need to install the part which houses the fuses and the "holder" part which holds it.

You also will need to remove the top and inspect the wiring, especially those coming off the fuse holders.

Over time they burn up due to becoming loose from vibrations and which as a result blow the fuses. The same is true for the hub & holder assembly, metal fatigued due to heat = blown fuses.

You can purchase the complete kit at "" for about $50 and will look like this...

Let me know how you make out or if I can assist you further.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.

Good luck.

Hello I have a Smeg 161s2 built in washing machine, I have a back wash problem and while off the machine fills up with a little water enough to cause an unpleasant odour. I do not think this is normal...

Hi Eileen , there is usually 2 main causes for this type of problem
1. your sink u-bend is starting to clog up ( use a good quality drain cleaner ( mr muscle etc )
2. your sink is syphoning back into the washing machine ( purchase an anti syphon valve from B&Q or homebase/home depot )
hope this helps

What is the best way to clean the grill?

use a good wire brush on the burners each time you use it before and after cooking. every season take the grill grates and flare reducers out and clean them well with a wire brush and or steel wool and clean out any residue in side the grill. make sure the grease catcher gets cleaned often as needed. blow out the gas manifolds with air in the spring to remove spider webs or insect webs etc. this should keep your grill working well for 10-15 years. replace the grates or flare plates when needed.also lightly clean the burners when you have the grill taken apart with steel woll then blow them out as well to keep all the openings clear. happy grilling.

Natural gas grill blows out in wind

Hm. Didn't like the idea of putting duct tape on my brandy new weber but thats what I did to keep the burner lit today in the wind. The 4" open area on the back, covered it with three strips of duct tape. Also stuffed aluminum foil in the right side to somewhat plug that crack. Trying to cook the ribs slowly (low flame on the second burner only which usually gives me about 225 degrees) and its windy as heck today. I surely don't plan to leave the duct tape there. Will probably invent a metal thing that slides up and down to cover that gap.

Have a Weber Genesis Silver. Gas is not flowing.

take off the grate[s] and the plate that covers the burner, find where the gas supply goes into the burner - use a compressed air source with a nozzle and blow out the burner and orifice - spiders and sometimes mud daubers love little spaces like this and will build a nest in 'em - even the slightest restriction will cause major headaches

Keep blowing fuses

hi, make sure you are using a time delay fuse and not a regular fuse. this may be the reason why the fuse keeps blowing out on your dryer.
