That happened to me one time. In the owners manual there are instructions on how to enter via the fuse box by sending a pulse throw the locking system with a hanger believe it or not.
Might be the central locking system. Try using the key in the door (rather than the remote control) to deactivate the security system. Also make sure that the center console is completely closed (this is part of the central locking system).

I had the same problem. I locked and unlocked the car with the engine run several time utilizing the dashboard lock button. That fix my problem.
If the car beeps twice when you unlock the doors, it means there is a fault in the car alarm system. Usually when this happens the red LED lights on the "door lock" button on the top r h side of the dash. Also on mine, when you try to open the passenger door the window does not drop the small amount as usual, but that may be part of my alarm problem.
