Cs540 caller hears echo

Hello, if they are hearing echo, you are speaking too loud. Or have the receiver too close and talking too loud. Or the person on the other end of the line has phone line problems.

Two Way Audio Problems

Unfortunately, yes, that is normal for simplex operation. The actual phone link, if cellphone, is often simplex. and you're attempting to use an additional simplex device on top of the cellphone's. Full-duplex requires a separate transmit and receive frequency pair for each end of the conversation, or link..
The way analog phones and many radio services get around this is by using "repeaters". These receive on one channel and transmit on another) for each conversation. When the two separate devices (your cellphone and the Bluetooth headset you're using) are combined, and with both needing it's own TX/RX pair), the effects you described are multiplied by two.

I can hear callers through my s11 plantronics headset but after using and trying all configuration no.'s they can't hear me at all

Make sure the Plantronics S11 headset is plugged into your handset jack on your phone, not the headset jack, this will make a difference on most phones. After plugging the S11 into the handset jack on your phone, you will need to pick up your handset receiver and sit it off to the side of the phone to place a call or to receive a call, after you are finished with your call sit the handset receiver back in the cradle on your phone.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Make sure volume is turned up and not muted. Test headset, can you hear anything?. What program are you using to communicate with others? Check settings in that program.

Bluetooth has lost connection with phone and I can't get it back

You should delete the headset from the "paired devices" list on the phone and completely redo the pairing process, it sounds like the two have gotten into some kind of wierd state.

If you need help with this please include the make and model of your phone.

HAVE THE CS60 WIRELESS HEADSET AND AM NOT HEARING IT BEEP WHEN THE PHONE IS RINGING

Make sure it can hear the phone ringing.( It relies on a microphone picking up the signal to make it ring. The unit comes with an optional ext microphone that you can plug in and stick it closer to the phone's ringer if it can hear it ringing. Try aklso turing up the RINGING volume of the phone!
Happy Talking!

I can hear trough my headset but not talk

okay, this is obvious but first of all make sure this switch on your headset is not on mute. If alls good there go to your dashboard settings and you should see communication and make sure none of these are blocked. If this also isn't the problem it looks like you are going to need a new headset. It should have a years warrenty if that helps?

Caller can't hear me when I talk.

Check to see where the CS55 is plugged into in your phone (The cord coming from the back).  You should NOT have it going into the headset jack of the phone.  It should go into the phone receiver jack, and the phone receiver coily cord should go into the front of the CS55 base unit.
