If it trips the breaker as soon as you hit the switch, check the power circuit. Check the power cord for frays or cuts, especially where the cord goes into the saw. Remove/split the handle and check the wires into and out of the switch and to the brushes and field. Lood for burned or melted wires or case parts. Milwaukee is notorious for running lots of small wires in very tight places. Make sure none of them got pinched when the tool was assembled. Watch for this also when you reassemble the saw. Check the brushes, if they're worn or broke they can cause a short on the armature. If these all check out you need to have the armature checked on a growler for shorts.
If the saw runs for a few seconds then trips the breaker I'd check for gear and bearing problems. Cehck for free, smooth movement of the bearings on the armature and blade drive assembly. The blade should turn freely by hand. Feel for undue resistance or a gritty feel in the bearings and gears. If necessary replace any offending parts.

What caused my bosch matter saw to quit cutting in middle of the cut

Several possibles:
1) Load exceeded circuit amps. Breaker tripped.
2) Load exceeded saw amps. Reset tripped.
3) Wiring failure in saw.
4) Wiring failure in supply.
Time to start checking.
Note- if the blade is dull or the load on the saw is too great it will trip one of the breakers.

How to check the electric brake on a dewalt 706 type 1 chop saw

The power cord can get a break in it. Try moving it when this happens. Otherwise, the plug can fall out of the outlet. Sometimes the switch goes bad.

Wolf 5000kva generator

Locate where the choke lever is for your generator (under the petrol tank), you ought to notice a star headed shaped screw connected to the governor shaft (if you bend and look closely further beyond the choke lever; still under the petrol tank) which is linked to the carburettor housing/assembly. You need to increase/turn clockwise (using a star screwdriver) on this screw.

Your generator engine sound will change/high a bit because the engine speed will increase.

Reconnect your 1800w chop saw (load) and see if your generator can "effortlessly" accommodate it without shutting down otherwise, increae the turns on this adjustment screw attached to the governor shaft till your generator operates/stabilizes with the load (1800w) connected

Cannot get saw to lift up on toedo chop saw

If your handle has two buttons, they are usually a power swtich and safety button so the saw isn't accidently started. No, power should not matter in the function of the swing arm. Most chop saws lock down by way of a small chain from the base to the end of the handle. Most miter saws and some chop saws lock down by way of a pin located on the pivot point of the swing arm. The pin locks the swing arm down by passing through a hole in the base pivot bearing.

The motor or brushes are burn by symptoms you refer. If you can,try to open the saw case and look inside. At the motor check for the cooper wires and the brushes if there some "carbon like burn".

Metal chop saw blows breaker

Is there anything else running while you are cutting? If not is the breaker 15 amp or 20 amp. If its 15 amp, I would change it to a 20 amp breaker. Make sure the wires are thick enough to handle the extra load. If this isn't the problem check the cord from the saw to the outlet.

Good luck!!
