What kind of Canon copier are you looking for a GP-55???? And the error code E5F7 is not a Canon error code. Relook at the error code again and let us know what it is displaying... It could be a finisher problem.... Try to disconnect the finisher and see if the code shows up??? If not it is in that unit. Is the stapler jammed or the sorter bins broken???? Need a place to start.

I'm not too familiar with your machine. Its a bit before my time, nut from the info that I have, the problem is with the finisher. I would suggest that you get a canon technician out to have a look at it.

Canon 405 error code e805

http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/canon/9744-canon-gp-405-error-e805.html

Quoting:

  1. Canon GP 405 error E805
E805 (The fan rotation is faulty.)
If no detail code is indicated,
suspect the feeder fan (FM1) or the
    reversing guide cooling fan (FM9).
Is the connection of these fans
normal? Is the drive signal of the fan
identified in the previous step about
22 VDC while the fan is rotating orabout 12 VDC otherwise?

That is one side with the fans,
Secondly, if the fans are found right, then for sure you need to change the DC Controller.
    Regards!

DO NOT REMOVE THE CANON GP 555 DRUM

It is easy, open the front door and fold down the transport unit & the drum is to the left of the developer aunit. There is one screw that hold the drum in, unscrew it and before you pull the drum unit out remove the grey filter unit to the left of the drum, then remove the drum unit. Note there is a corona wire as the primary charge, it is not a roller. There is a screw that holds the unit in on the rear of the drum unit and also, there is one silver secew that is attached to the cleaning unit for the post corona wire. Some C.Q. problem can be fixed with replacing the post corona wire. Good Luck

I Don't know how good your english is but I'm gonna try you anyway.

The problem you have is with the finisher on the machine. I'm not too familiar with the problem, because this machine is just before my time. but from the info that I have, it definately finisher.

I would suggest that you get a canon technician to have a look at the problem.
