This is no doubt your system fan. it may be dusty and now having some trouble doing what it does. compressed air should clean this for you, unless you want to open it and manually clean the fan.
Hope this helps you.

Sounds like either the drive belt is slipping or your motor is going bad. If you see fine rubber dust on the floor or machine hood area it's the belt.

Does anyone have keys for Gunvault gv2000? Lost my keys during a move. Did not use the electronic key pad. Any ideals?

That is like asking if we have the keys to your house or car. They come keyed different, however if you are lucky there is a code on the lock it self. Best solution take it to a locksmith shop. Look for one that had been around for at least 10 years and preferably works on safes. This lock can be picked open and keys fit though not easily. The easy way is to drill it out and replace the lock. Unfortunately the cost of this is going to be close to a new container so I hope it has a code on the lock 20-30 bucks on the high end for a code key. Take it in to a lock shop.
good luck.

How do I reset code on multi vault gv 2000

I went here for your manual:

Gunvault Multi Vault GV2000

Do you have the key?

Looks like you can remove power for 30+ seconds and reset to the factory defaults (there's external power and AA batteries inside.)

The PDF file linked above has the "learn" precedure for setting the code. And there's a FAQ list on page 13 that you might find helpful.

Good luck!

Whirring noise

HELLO, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I WENT TO THE DEALER AND WHEN THE CAR WAS MAKING THAT WHIRLING SOUND, HE UNSCREWED THE OIL CAP AT THAT MOMENT AND THE NOISE WAS GONE. IT WAS THE PCV VALVE AND THE HOUSING(DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS) THAT NEEDED REPLACING. SO TRY UNSCREWING THE OIL CAP WHEN THE NOISE IS PRESENT. IF IT GOES AWAY THEN YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE PCV VALVE NEEDS REPLACEMENT. IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD, TRUSTING MECHANIC THAT CAN DO THIS FOR LESS THAN 350.00, YOUR GOOD. THE DEALER CHARGED ME 650.00 FOR THIS. GOOD LUCK.
