You reset the Fuze by sliding the power switch up all the way and holding it there for fifteen seconds. Does this do any good?

Having gone over a month with no response to my query, I assume the suggested reset solved the problem.

You should be able to hold the power button (as if you were turning it on) for 20-25 seconds, which will shut it off completely. It should work as if nothing happened when you turn it back on again. Hope this works for you!!

My Sansa Fuze 4gb wont turn on and isnt being recognized by my computer, iv also tried to soft reset it many times , nothing seems to work.. help plz..

I've had the same problem with my Sansa Fuze 2GB. It's pretty frustrating, but in order to get it to work, I let it sit without touching it or doing anything with it for a few days. For 2-5 days, do not turn on your Sansa Fuze. After the amount of time has passed, try the soft reset again.

The screen is frozen and I cannot play music and i cannot find the reset button

If your Sansa Fuze MP3 player becomes frozen or unresponsive, you may need to reset the unit.
To do so, simply slide and hold the Power button on the side of the unit. Hold it for about 10 seconds and the player should reset.
If this does not work, I recommend plugging the device into a computer, or charger.

Reset your Fuze by holding the power slider switch in the "On" position for 15-30 seconds. Release the button once the unit begins to power down.
