Start by replacing the belts. They should be replaced at least twice per year for proper cleaning. The flat belt will stretch and lose elasticity and the "v" belt wears on the inside grooves. If the smaller narrow inside part of the belt is less than 1/8" it has worn and needs replaced.

How to get inside and replace belt on washer model fws445rbs4 serial xc72602766

Hello,
To replace that belt, use a flat blade screwdriver and place it between the top edge of front panel and top at the corners and pop up the top, raise the top, inside of the front panel at the top inside corners will be screws that hold the panel to the cabinet, remove those screws and push down and pull off front panel. To replace belt lay on the floor and grab old belt and rotate it off of the transmission pulley and pull it out, place new belt around motor and idler pulley and rotate it around the trans. pulley in a counterclockwise direction

The rubber band fell off

Normally the belt does not go through any special tensioners or anything of that nature,The belt should go directly from the spindle motor onto the inside of the platter. Hook the belt on the motor section and lay the belt open wide inside the turntable. Next, replace the platter and manouvre the belt onto the platter inside, through the two large holes

loosen tensioners using a pry bar or equivalant and loosen tensioners on ac and alternator then tighten when replaceing. work on outside belt off fist and then inside belt off second. then install inside belt first and then outside belt. you will see a grooved hole where the bolt goes through the alternator to reduce tension.

Dvd writter is not working

Replace the rubber belt inside. That rubber belt keeps other rotating parts inside to move faster as the motor is running, replaced it with a tight one so that when your insert a cd the optical inside can easily read your cd. The optical lens need to run with as a desired speed of your ROM xspeed.

Put a new gear belt and replace the old and tired belt inside.
