Get a message that says out off range while the green L.E.D. light flashes. then the monitor goes off. any Ideas??

Yes, your computer's video resolution is set too high, an easy way to fix this is by booting your computer in safe mode. you can put your computer in safe mode by pressing f8 continuously while it is booting up. Then you go to control panel>display and change the resolution and pressing apply.

I am getting a INPUT NOT SUPPORT message for my 917sw AOC lcd monitor. It does work on safe mode I am using windows vista, but when I come back to normal mode, I see the same message again... HELP!!!

The resolution selected in normal mode is not supported by your monitor.
Instead of booting into safe mode, boot into VGA mode - this should allow you to change the resolution - change it to one that works and then you should be able to use normal mode.
Hope this helps, Sherwin

Hi I get a "signal out of range" message until windows xp starts. This means I can't get into safe mode or see start up messages. Any ideas please?

You see "Signal Out of Range" does not mean you cannot go to Safe mode or see startup messages. It shows up when you dont have a display. The refresh rate of your monitor is a little slow. So when you wana go to safe mode, press the Power button and start pressing F8 option and you will get the safe mode option and you will see startup messages when you will get one. Your computer is perfect. :)

All the best.

Shrey

My ViewSonic computer monitor keeps displaying a Vga Not Support Message upon booting then the message Out Of Range comes up on a completely dark screen. Need Help

It sounds like the computer is trying to use a resolution that the monitor cannot handle. Boot into safe mode by pressing the f8 key during boot up and select safe mode. Once booted, right click on the desktop and select properties. In settings lower the resolution by moving the bar to the left and reboot.

I would move it all the way down, you can then move it up a step at a time once you are in normal mode again.

Hope this helps
