SOURCE: There is extensive rusting around the liquid

I can not respond to the whitlpool ceo but I can tell you how to fix your problem.

Go to the hardware store and get a small container of a product called naval jelly. Paiint this on the rusty area, let it sit for thirty minutes and wipe away all of the rust. Next paint the area with rustoleum primer followed by rustoleum paint.

SOURCE: waterproofing house stucco

First of all, this is a problem the guys from Home Depot wouldn't know how to fix.

Years ago, maybe when this post was originally written you may have needed to do a two coat system.

Your best and actually easiest option will be to power wash your stucco, to remove any dirt from the surface.
Then you will need to mask everything up tight because you're about to spray all the stucco. Cover any concrete and plants nearby, (anything that is closer than 10 feet from the stucco.)

Then go to Sherwin-Williams and purchase Loxon XP this is a one coat system however if you have larger cracks in the stucco you will either want to caulk them with an elastomeric caulk (if you don't have too many) or apply a second coat of Loxon XP. If you're a do it yourself kinda of person you can go to home depot and rent a spray machine. While your spraying your gonna want to back roll it.

How much does it cost to re paint a Toyota corolla

depends on the job you want and the painter doing the job and the paint to use
A full paint job using metallic paint ( glass removed , door handle removed , bump strips off etc ) will set you back around $3.000.00 aud
if you want a fast flash job for resale around $500.00 by a backyard painter.
get quotes from several paint shops and be specific in what you want done

Can I paint over this with a water based paint

Don't use a water-based paint for any purpose on a motor vehicle.

It can damage the finish of existing paint, and will NOT stick to the original paint. If this is just a stop-gap measure to cover some imperfection(s), and you don't care about perfection in the result, just purchase a can or two of spray touch-up paint and "have at 'er"!!!

How much should I thin paint for pneumatc sprayer?

you did not mention what paint, you did not mention what sprayer.

remember, if you use solvent - opacity of the paint is sacrified, tints are less visible, metallic require more clear coverage.

for water based paints - except airbrush, usually no thinning is required, but you need to first stir it well (at least 3min on manual or 1min 30sec if mechanical stirer is used) strain it, i am using old stockings for that purpose in single layer, works very well for me and if nozzle is above 1.4mm up to 2.8mm there is no problem whatsoever. if this is splatter paint (nozzle 4.5mm or greater) do not even think about thinning it...

for acrylic - if nozzle is between 0.8mm and 2.8mm, procedure as above and you need to add specific thinner, usually up to 20% albeit in some cases up to 40% per volume) so paint will be about like ight cooking oil - water.

for oil paints and enamels - solvent should be not more than 20%, albeit you can increase it up to 40% in rare circumstances, if you are using hvlp gun, you can, if you yousing hp gun - no! it will disperse too much.

for two packs and urethanes - not more than 20% better keep between 5% and 10%

for latex - in rare circumstances you are allowed to use very, VERY specific solvent, and ususally not more than 10%, nozzle usually is 8mm or greater in these paints.

I have several paint chips on my blue and white 1996 Yamaha Royal Star. I can't find the paint codes for new paint.

It's 14 year old paint so factory paint wont match due to fading, you're best bet is to get a color-match made up at local motor paint/specialist paint shop -

I have a Royal KMM typewriter that my parents purchased for me when I was in high school. It was used when they bought it. I am 64 years old so that tells you how long I've had it. It has been sitting in...

It has no real value any way. A really beautiful typewriter. He is right about the paint. I have not been able to find wrinkle paint for over 20 twenty years and have painted more than 200 old typewriters with regular paint with no problems. We overhaul these vintage typewriters for about $ 100.00 in our area.

You can't hurt it any more than it is, so I would try a liquid paint remover/stripper and let the metal parts soak over night. I'd be more careful with the plastic parts. Poke in the holes with a fine wire (paper clip) or pin. About the service manual, use a search engine (Dogpile, google) and search the web.
