Start with the device off but fully charged. Press and hold the call control button for 8 seconds; at this point, you'll see the light flash blue then red. You'll have two minutes to connect it to your new phone. Use the passkey 0000 after your phone finds the headset.

SOURCE: I am getting feedback with Plantronics CS70 Wireless Headset

Echo is usually caused by the transmit (speak) level on the unit being set too high.

1. First, try lowering the volume of the telephone. If you still hear an echo, adjust the volume of the headset itself.

2. The master transmit controls of the headset are the ABCD switch settings on the bottom of the base. A is the lowest and D is the highest setting.

3. You can fine tune this setting with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the back of the charging base.

4. If this doesn't fix the echo, try moving the configuration dial on the left side of the charging base. The recommended setting for most phones is 1.

Turn on the wireless headset as soon as the HL10 lifter picks up the headset. Remember to press the call answer switch. A steady green light should come on the base and the wireless headset should have a small green blinking light on, on its side.

* Make sure your hand receiver is off the hook when using the headset. Also check that you hear a dial tone on the handset/hand receiver before turning on the headset.

Problems with dicovery 925 keep blinking purple light and can't pair with the phone help

Something you may want to try is start from the beginning. Check to make sure there are no other bluetooth devices loaded onto your phone that might interfere with the process. Turn off your phone. Disconnecting the battery of your mobile for 30 seconds and reconnecting helps to reset the phone. The instructions for turning off the headset and re-pairing the two devices are located in the following link for the Plantronics Discovery 925 User's Guide.

Plantronics CS55 headset.

Greetings,

I also use a headset at work from the same company (Plantronics), If the battery is faulty it will not power and you can't use it.

The wiring has gone bad. Try re-connecting all wires.

Explorer 240 keeps shutting down even if Iphone 4 is in pocket. need to power off or resett bluetooth on phone

It may be something having to do with an upgrade application that may have been done. If this was what happened then you may have to down grade back to original settings. If this is not the case I would do a hard reset with cell phone let your battery go dead, remove from phone. place it back in and recharge re do the pair and or subscribe.

I cannot here the phone ringing from my CS55 headset or another call coming in.

You will need the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter in order to have the CS55 ring, indicating an incoming call. The HL10 also allows you to answer remotely on most phones and hang-up remotely.

My 330 doesn't turn on, does it require a battery? If so how do I change the battery?

If the Plantronics Explorer 330 will no longer turn on, it could be that the internal battery is worn out. The battery is not replaceable, it is internally hard wired. A current replacement headset would be the Plantronics M20. Please see link below.

I have a Plantronics 210 it periodically stops working.(no blue light) i toss it in a drawer and after a few weeks it just start working again.

Sounds like something is going out internally, could be the battery or a circuit board. Just keep in mind that it has a one year warranty, so Plantronics will replace it for you if it within the warranty period. You can call Plantronics directly at 800-544-4660 ext 5538 or here is a link below for the online warranty service (Quick Web).

My Headset does´nt have dialtone, I was connecting to cisco phone 7941, 7970, 7911, and nothing, not work.

You can use a Plantronics S11 headset with a Cisco phone, however it is not the best compatible solution. To use an S11 with a Cisco phone, you have to make sure that you are plugging it into the handset receiver jack and not the headset jack. You will need to lift the handset receiver, set it off to the side, and then hang it up after each call. If you want a more compatible solution that you can plug into the actual headset jack and just press the headset button on the telephone to answer and hang up, then you would need one of the Plantronics "H-series headsets" with the Plantronics Cisco direct connect cable ( model 26716-01 ).

My m2500 headset keeps hanging up during use. How do I fix ?

If the battery voltage drops, the call will disconnect. Try charging the headset to full charge, and see if that fixes the problem.

Be aware that the NiMh batteries in your M2500 may be at end-of-life, and won't hold a charge as they should. If so, it's time to go shopping, or else, time to start soldering!
