Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
It sounds like you are getting no sound. First, do you have the sound drivers loaded for your sound card (many times sound is built into the motherboard).
Check you sound settings in the control panel. Be sure the sound is not muted.
Check the speakers--be sure they are turned on.
Be sure the speakers are plugged into the green jack.
