Look for 2 big black ICs they will have the Part number on them, example STK392-110
Mats Electronics has them replace Both ICs. 1-800-628-1118 also in front of ICs is 2 resistors low ohm 2.7 or 3.9 replace them.
A loose Scart cable caused the problem.I fortunately found this beforetaking the set to the repairers who wanted £117.50 just to look at it.(Samsung appointed repairer)
HLP, HCN HL-S The Start-up Problem or/and 3 LEDs in the front blinking. Unplug the set, pull out the lamp module (not all the way - leave it on the track) and push it back in. Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.
Yes you must go to menu and set the convergenge. It is easy. If it doesnt tune in or set to be ok you must get somebody to set convertions manualy thru service menu.
Try plugging the power cable out for the night. If it doesn't solve it there's probably a problem with the power supply that needs professional care.
Good luck
