Cant find the plug for the control actuator on a Ford E150. Door is not switching so only cold air is blowing.

What year E150 ? Manual or automatic HVAC ? What door isn't switching ? Mode door , temp. door ? Some ford's have a valve under the hood hooked to heater hoses called hot water valve , allow hot coolant to go through the heater core . Ford Explorer 1992 heater control valve install Explorer E150 doesn't matter ford used on all there vehicles ! Some are vacuum controlled others are controlled by a cable !

Ford ka heater problem

Sounds like you need the heater core flushed or a new thermostat.Sounds like you needed the valve replaced but have since developed a new problem.

Selection lever does not move to AC vent or floor vent only to the defrost. AC compressor does not kick in when AC is selected.
Vacuum level is at 18 instead of 23.
Any suggestions.

Front air blows hot air while back air is cold. Can turn it off and on and it will work for a while.

I have the same problem, when running the air conditioning the front vents will blow hot air. I have not removed the dashboard yet, but I think that the air damper is stuck in the open position. It seemed like a heater core valve problem, but I am pretty sure it is a damper under the dashboard. Now however, I am finally getting some cool air out of the airconditioning vents, but when winter comes, I am afraid I will struggle getting heat again.

1993 Ford Econoline E150, AC and Heat work, however I can't switch vents. All the air is shooting down at my feet. I noticed it look like air actuated switches. Is this true and could there be a hole in...

Air diverter doors are vacuum operated. This problem is generally due to broken vacuum line. Start tracing the vacuum line from entry at the firewall back to engine. Likely goes through some type of canister, especially ball shaped and maybe through a vacuum manifold where several lines attach. Check for leak along all attaching lines all the way to vacuum source at engine manifold. If no problem found then check line from firewall to temp/climate control switches under dashboard and from switch to actuators. Can sometimes be difficult to trace but never impossible. Good luck!
