The water shoot is the water line on the back of the freezer where your water enters the icemaker. What has probably happened is the water shoot has filled with ice and left enough space for water to spray out. What you will need to do is get a blowdryer and aim it towards the water shoot till the ice has cleared. This should resolve your problem. I hope I have helped you.

My flotec well pump will squirt water and then stop . I keep feeding it water slowly but it won;t prime. What should I be doing?

Check for an air leak in your siphon line. It can be very small and totally prevent the pump from priming.

No water going to ice maker

Your inlet tube that goes to the icemaker may be frozen. To Check: Shut off water supply to Fridge, disconnect the water line that goes to the icemaker at top back. Use a flexible item to insert in the water line connection. I used a zip tie. If the flexible item won't all the through to the ice maker, the line is frozen. Thaw out the tube from inside the freezer with a hair dryer. Re-connect everything, you now have ice . . . Solution #2: You may have to replace your "Water Inlet Valve" located at bottom right rear of Fridge. Easy to do, just follow the color codes, be sure and shut off the water.

The icemaker calls for water but no water comes into it

Starting from the start, make sure the valve behind the fridge is open. then make sure when you disconnect the tube from the intake of the refrigerator, that water comes out. Then check the intake filter on the fridge for debris. Then defrost the freezer in case the intake line froze. If you still have no water going into the ice maker, the valve is probably bad. If you post the make/model and go through those steps I'll help you take the Icemaker apart...

I have a puddle of water in fron of my fridge. What causes this and how can I fix?

Lots of things might cause it, but one of the most common is a clogged drain in the bottom of the refrigerator comparment. Take out the drawers, if you have them, and look for a little hole about the diameter of nickel. If you see water pooled up around that hole, it's clogged. You can clean it out by squirting hot water into it with a turkey baster. Also, you might need to dig any solid stuff out of it. Once it's unclogged, you'll be fine. Also, you could have a water leak on the line going to your water dispense or icemaker. But, the drain is probably it.

U-line water level too full

If you have a icemaker then remove the cover. You will see a screw with a spring around it. Turn that clockwise like your tightening it this will reduce the size of the cube. Also make sure it is leveled. And make sure no corrosion is around the gears on that same plate. This could make the motor run slower and more water comes into it.

Icemaker won't make ice

First, check to make sure you have water pressure at your supply line. (flex hose) If you have pressure and the icemaker is cycling, (arm moving up and down on its own) you most likely have a defective water inlet valve. This is the valve that the supply line connects to. Water is fed to this valve through your flex hose and then passed through a solenoid to your icemaker when the solenoid is energized.
