the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Deleted files from my PNY 4GB flash drive are still taking up space.

Most flash drive comes with its on date support files on it. If those had not been removed then, yes it will show some space used.

SOURCE: pny attache optima pro 8g usb drive disk space problem

Yes, and Perfectly too.

What you should do is,
depending on your operating system,
Right-Click on 'My Computer Icon', then select 'Manage'.

When you get to Computer Management page,

Click on Disk Management on left hand side,

This will display ALL the disks installed on your system, either partitioned or not partitioned, formatted or not formatted.

Then go to the ones that are hidden, not created, or not displayed, right-click on it, then you'll see different actions that you can perform.

Also, in some instances, what you just need to do when you get to this page is to assign a new, distinct, drive letter apart from the ones already in use on the system.

This will automatically bring out the hidden drives.

Hope I have helped you out.

Goodluck

I had data on my drive now it says it is not formatted

I would download a data recovery software programme if the data is important, you can get some f these as shareware or free if you look around.
As long as the computer can recognise the drive, you will be able to get the data back

As to why it is appearing as not formatted could be down to a number of reasons, commonly, transferring a usb drive to a mac and back causes these issues, or, the drive may be failing

Normally most of the pen drive are plug and play means the hardware is recognised automatically by windows.
Try the following steps below:
>start
>setting
>control panel
>administrative tools
>computer management
>in left column click disk management
>then you can perform format according to your choice.
ok try this and let me know
Any other help, you are most welcome

I have a PNY 4GB high speed USB Drive. I want to

Well, the easy way would be to do this

But if you want to use the USB drive just insert it into an open USB port
  1. click Start
  2. click My Computer
  3. Select the USB drive from the list of connected drives
  4. Click and drag the files from their location to the USB drive
To get them to the other computer follow steps 1-3, then click and drag them from the USB drive to their new location.

Unable to access files on the flash drive

SDHC cards are not backward compatible with normal SD cards..therefore older devices will not recognise them...your built in card reader is probably not sdhc...try downloading directly from camera or use a sdhc usb card reader
