Question about HP PAVILION A6230N DESKTOP PC
I bought this new PC in Oct. at Best Buy. All the software was pre-installed. I just had a huge crash. I had no software CD. A friend put XP on me so I do some things on my PC. Now I want my Vista back. I paid for it already once. What can I do?
1. Has your mate reformated the hard drive when loading XP?
2. Do you have the Product Key?, (This should be on the case on a little Microsoft sticker)
If no to question 1, you need to contact the company that sold you the PC to get a copy of the software CD, as the Vista OEM software you need to re-install has been deleted.
If no to question 2, you you need to contact the company that sold you the PC and get one, or report them to Microsoft.
