How to change ink cartrides

-   I am putting all new cartridges ( cyan,magenta,yellow and black ) in my epson stylus CX6000. I had to turn it off to get the old ones ( cheap clones) out. Now I can't get the inside holder to stop where I can open it  and replace the new Epson inks. I lost the instructions that came with my unit. Can you help me? Thank you.-   sweetgum

How do I change the color cartridge? When I open the thing it does NOT move to the center. The only way I have ever gotten it to do so was when I ran so low on ink that it was printing lousy and then it offered me a box to click to get that to happen. I want to print something and get the colors right and am very low on black and two other colors, but don't want to waste the paper printing till I get it to offer help.-   Guest
