Phone not charging.

Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.

Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.

After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And if charger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.

Take care.

I have a new Dyson V8 Absolute When I try to charge it nothing happens. When I pull the trigger I have one flashing blue light. HELP

not trying to be a smart a** but which of the two do you have?
1. A flashing blue light indicates that the battery is running low on charge.
2. A fast flashing blue light indicates no power or a temporary fault (e.g. check filter or for blockages).

FYI....A solid blue light indicates that the battery is charging. No light indicates the battery is fully charged. A solid amber light indicates that the battery is not charging due to a temporary fault (e.g. too hot/cold). A flashing red light indicates that there is a fault, call the Dyson Helpline.
Best to you.

Chair stalled suddenly at full charge. Charge lights blink rapidly back and forth. What should I do?

This could be a few things. 1. get the batteries checked, they may say you have a full charge, but when under load, they may drop down to far and fault the controller with a low voltage fault. You could have a bad brake, this can be checked by a tech by plugging in a programmer and checking the fault code. 3. you may have a loose connection and the slightest bump may give you an intermittent power off and fault the chair. Have a Tech look at the chair and see what may be the problem.

Does taking my car to its dealer for inspection of a fault costing/ charged?

Not if under warranty! Also if there is no disassembly involved then there should not be any charge...... If there is time involved in removing items to find the fault and you do not get the fault fixed by the garage then they could charge for their time!

You need to check the charging voltage and regulation of the alternator and the charging circuit. It can be a fault associated with low charging current or possible error in the voltage factors- rectification of the regulator. hence a check up is needed to ensure that the fault indication is noted to prevent further damage.

My sumsung YPK-3 mp3 player does not charge. When I connect to the PC the usual charging screen comes up saying it is connected and is charging. Even after over 5 hours, it did not charge at all and when...

The battery is at fault. The charging circuit is fine as it says CHARGING. As the battery is at fault you may like to as Samsung to replace it if the device is still under warranty. Else replace the battery.

My phone says error stop charging and it will not charge.

It is possible that the charger unit is at fault. To confirm if you can get a spare charger confirm the fault. In such a case you must break opne the charger and change the filter capacitor/rectifier on the adaptor. If the fault is still there then the fault is in the main board particularly in the battery charging circuit. Also check for fault in the battery. clean the terminal points. If the fault is in the main board then you will need help as the component are surfaced mounted. At best solder these areas and try but do so only if you are familiar. Good day

What does a fault signify?

I hate this about automatic electronic battery chargers; they shut down when the battery isn't perfect. The battery may have an internal short or the specific density of the electrolyte may be high or low. The plates may be sulfated as well. An old-fashioned non-electronic charger would have charged it anyway.

Not charging

you need to check things the relates to the charging to know where the fault is coming from. Check the charger, test it with another phone, if it works on another phone, then the fault is from the charging port. Also test the phone with another charger.

Get a phone screw driver, loose the phone and remove the charging port and clean it, also clean the part of the board where the charging port contacts, couple the phone and test again. This does not solve the problem, then you have to completely change the charging port.

Take care.

When I plug my phone in to charge it will not charge, why? It's the Enve2...

Can the phone on when you put it on? If the phone does not on, then maybe the battery cell is weak and cannot come up with a charger expect you charge the battery seperately with a desktop charger and the battery cell should come up by so doing. After which you can start charging.

If that's not the fault, check the charger, maybe it is no more working.

If it is not the charger, then the fault might be from the charging port.

If the fault is not from the charging port, it might be a software problem.

I believe you should find the fault if you follow the steps above. One of them should be the problem.

Best wishes.
