Question about Electronics - Others
I recently purchased a WESTERN DIGITAL 320GB PASSPORT USB PORTABLE but the problem is i can't copy large files.. 8GB up.
there will be an error saying the "NO ENOUGH SPACE''. even if the free space is still very large.
hope to hear you opinions
After posting the above, I found the answer on another forum about 10 minutes later. The WD drive is formated in FAT 32. My XP PC HDDs are formated in NTFS. FAT 32 has a 4Gb file size limit.
Answer. Format the WD drive in NTFS. It takes about 10 sec to do a quick format, but of course you lose all the content. Then You can copy anything you like to it. I have just copied a 33Gb video to the disc.
