(1) defrag. hard drive
(2) Turn off eye candy - click on control panel, then system then advanced, then settings and select 'adjust for best performance.
(3) Keep in mind, the size and type of wall paper you have selected can make a huge difference. I make mine plain black, because it reduces glare.. But that does not suit everyone. If you want to speed up your pc, leave it plain or keep the wallpaper file size to a minimum Eg less that a 100k. Most people put up something like 2 Meg & it kills the pc, as it has to hold it in memory.
(4) Maybe ugrade memory. - There are lots of other things, but get a bit technical. If you want more, pls ask. Rgds,

When i am shut down my windows 7, the loading is very long it want to repair but i don't have a software in disc so i need your help, please

This may be because your hardware of your computer is not able to cope with the demands of Windows 7 especially when it come to laptops. Laptops use slower RPM hard drives and slower processors, so it is common to find that a laptop is slow. Keep your applications down to a minimum and keep your anti-virus software up to date. Run a virus scan, it is possible that you PC is slowing down because of a virus infection. Run the disk defragmentor program, this will ensure that all files are put together and your computer doesn't have to spend time to search for the files it needs. Run msconfig, navigate to the start up tab, you may find programs that you don't need at start up, for experienced users only. If you want to repair windows then I recommend sending it to a computer technician.

All the best!

I cannot send out e mail on my yahoo account with facebook its okay

Like what they've asked if you are using an email client like Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail etc. If you are not using any mail client I presume you are using an internet browser. Are you using Internet explorer 6, 7 or 8? or you are using Firefox? I'll just mention the mostly used browser.

You can try these steps I provided if you are using any of the browser I provided below. Note: This will remove all the things stored in your web browser.

Optimizing IE 6

Optimizing IE7 and 8

Optimizing Firefox 3.5.5 up
1. Open Firefox
2. Click Tools
3. Click Clear Recent History
4. On the drop down menu choose "Everything"
5. Press ok then restart firefox

I hope this helped you.

Battery problem-plugged in, not charging. Lenovo 3000 N100.Type:0768.Model:24U.S.no:L3LA215. Please offer a solution.

Had the same problem with a manufactured refurb, would go to 79 %, if you go to power options, change plan settings, change advance power settings, then to the Lenovo energy management tab, press the big enable Lenovo energy management, click on the blue gear to the left of the question mark, if "Optimize for Battery lifespan" is selected it will only charge the battery to 80%, change this to "Optimize for Battery Runtime" and it will charge to 100%
